We went back to Toys R Us and picked up some more minifigs. We were able to positively identify 2 more Computer Programmers, a Bunny Suit Guy and a Jungle Boy.   It was only a couple of weeks ago when I was at the store buying Lego series 6 minifigs for Easter baskets...ok ok and for myself too. So you can imagine my shock when my wife and were out this weekend and found nothing but empty series 6 displays. Pretty upsetting since I never did land a Minotaur (but one of our sons has one). Where an adult can be a kid

About 6 months ago Consumer’s opened a new beer store about a mile from our house. The place is simply amazing. Hundreds of different beers available in bottles, micro brews, craft beers, seasonal offerings, plus 12 taps with constantly changing kegs to fill growlers. I can’t help but smile and just wander the place every time I go in. Its literally like being a kid in a candy store again. I even mentioned this feeling to Karli and those words to Karli in the car on the way there, only to hear them verbatim from another gentleman inside the store.

Big kids need toys too

The boys’ last report cards were good (in one case a vast improvement from his prior report card), so we got them Nerf guns as a reward. Logic being outside toys for summer versus video games or inside stuff. Ryan picked out one that shoots green balls, and Connor and Jacob got ones that shoot foam darts, N-Strike CS-6 Recons.
